Salmon Air Fried with Dijon Mustard and Soy Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 2 fillets salmon (about 6-8 ounces each) (or 1 larger fillet cut into 2 servings)
  • 2 teaspoons avocado or olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar or honey
  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce For gluten-free, substitute with gluten free soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • season with just a little salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 pinch ground ginger optional

Instructions
 

  • For easy cleanup line the air fryer basket with aluminum foil. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees. Sprinkle the fillet with a little salt and pepper.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, dijon mustard, oil soy sauce, garlic powder, and ginger. Spoon it all over the top of each fillet.
  • Place the seasoned fillets in the basket of air fryer so they are not touchng. Set at 400 °F degrees for 6-11 minutes. Time depends on the thickness of the fillet. (approximately 8 minutes for fillet 1" thick). Check it a couple times towards the end of cooking to make sure it does not overcook.
  • It is done when it reaches 145 °F
