Ingredients
  

  • 1 9-inch unbaked deep-dish pie shell homemade or store bought
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 15 oz can 100% Pure Pumpkin
  • 1 12 oz can evaporated milk
  • whipped cream (optional-garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Mix sugar, cinnamon, salt, ginger and cloves in a small bowl. Beat eggs in large bowl. Stir in the pumpkin puree, spices. Gradually mix in the evaporated milk.
  • Pour filling into a pie shell.
  • Bake in preheated 425 degee F. oven for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F and continue to bake for another 40-50 minutes or until knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool. Once cooled serve immediately or refrigerate. After plating top with whipped cream.
