Cranberry Orange Relish

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package raw cranberries
  • 1 small Valencia orange (thin skinned orange), quartered
  • 3/4-1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon grand mariner or orange flavored liquor

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the cranberries and discard any that are overripe. Wash outside of orange and quarter. Remove as much of the excess white from the orange rind as you can.
  • Combine cranberries, the quartered orange and rind in a food processor and pulse 5 times or until chopped. In a bowl, combine the cranberry mixture, sugar, walnuts and orange liqueur. Let stand/rest at least 30 minutes before serving.
  • Cover and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
