Charlotte's Waffles

These waffles are super simple to make. They are nice and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Plus they are easily adaptable for those on a plant based diet, you will never know the difference.

Equipment

  • Waffle Maker

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk /Plant Based use oat or almond milk
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 2 eggs /Plant Based use equivalent/Just Egg
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Heat waffle maker
  • In large bowl beat the eggs, then stir in the remaining ingredients,
  • Pour the required amount of batter onto the center of hot waffle maker and close the lid.
  • If your waffle maker doesn't have an auto alert button, then bake for about 5 minutes or until the steaming stops. Check the waffle, it should be golden brown.
  • Carefully remove the waffle and serve.
