Parmesan coated pork chops baked in the oven are so juicy and delicious! Plus they are very easy to prepare. Dinner is ready to eat in 30-40 minutes.

Our family has been making these baked pork chops for years. If we don’t grill them outside, this is our go-to recipe. Super simple to make, just three quick steps: bread, brown, bake and done!

Tips

Type of pork: Look for bone-in pork chops, with or without the loin. Baking time will depend on how thick the chops are. The internal temperature should reach 155 degrees F.

Dry the Chops: Before the egg wash and breading process, pat the chops dry with paper towel. By removing this extra moisture, both the egg and breadcrumbs will cling to the chops better.

Egg subsitute: You can easily substitute the egg wash with simply brushing (or coating) the pork chops with mayonnaise (approximately 1 – 1 1/2 tablespoons per chop) To make sure you don’t cross contaminate the mayonnaise, scoop out what you will use. If you need more, then use a clean spoon. Do not put the dirty spoon back into the mayonnaise jar.

Bread Crumbs: Both seasoned or unseasoned bread crumbs will work for this recipe.
