Tips For Baked Salmon:
We use a whole filet of salmon or four single filets in this recipe. Prior to seasoning the filet, pat it dry with a paper towel. On a prepared, foil lined baking sheet, place the salmon (skin side down) on top of the sliced lemon. Then pour the butter sauce over the top and bake until done. It’s that easy!
Sometimes fully cooked salmon will be slightly pink in the center. On average, baking time will take 8-12 minutes per 1-inch of salmon, at 400 degree F. (The internal temperature should reach 140-145 degrees F.)
