Dog Treat Recipes: That are Heathy and Delicious, your dog will love them!
Equipment
- baking sheet
- cookie cutter
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup canned 100% pumplin. Do Not use pumpkin pie filling
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter Important – Check Ingredients: (No xylitol or artificial sweeteners – both are toxic to dogs)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, add the pumpkin, peanut butter, and flour. Mix with an electric mixer until it looks crumbly. Using your hands, form the crumb mixture into a ball.
- Roll out the dough onto a floured surface. Use a cookie cutter to cut into shapes.
- Place the biscuits 1/2 inch apart on a ungreased cookie sheet, lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12 minutes.Let cool. Store in a zip-lock bag in the freezer. Take out what you will need for the week and keep them in the refrigerator, they stay fresher this way.
