Grilled Teriyaki Pork Chops made with a homemade marinade sauce. These chops are rich in flavor, tender and juicy.
The teriyaki marinade sauce is ready in minutes, and tastes better than many store bought brands.
(The pork loin chops shown in the photo above, were from Trader Joe’s.)
How to prepare the teriyaki pork chops
Mix the ingredients for the teriyaki marinade
Place pork chops into a gallon sized, zip-lock plastic bag. Pour two thirds of the teriyaki marinade over the chops. Reserve the remaining marinade to brush on chops while grilling. Seal the bag and turn a few times to coat the chops. Place bag on a plate, refrigerate for minimum of 30 minutes.
For perfectly grilled pork chops, grill them on medium-high heat. Grill until a meat thermometer reaches 145-155 degrees.
To help retain the juices, let the chops rest for 5 minutes before serving. The temperature of the pork chops will continue to rise (another 3-5 degrees) while resting.
