Tips for Garlic and Oil Pasta

Before draining the pasta reserve about 1/2 cup of the water to add if pasta once mixed is too dry. Add a little at a time.

  • Gluten-free: Make it gluten-free by using your favorite GF spaghetti.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound spaghetti or angel hair
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4-1/2 cup reserved pasta water

Instructions
 

  • Add oil, butter and garlic to a small saucepan, over medium low heat cook until the garlic is fragrant, not browned. Add in a little of the reserved pasta water and seasonings.
  • Remove from heat and pour over cooked pasta. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
    Serve with salad or Italian bread.

    Very simple to make, I used jarred garlic because that’s what I had on hand. I couldn’t believe how quick dinner was on the table. Served it with a side salad and Italian bread. Tasty!!!
