Pumpkin Peanut Butter Dog Treats

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Ingredients – Dog Treat Recipe

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup canned 100% pumpkin. Do Not use pumpkin pie filling
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (check to make sure that the peanut butter does not contain xylitol, or artificial sweetener, both are toxic to dogs)

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl, add the pumpkin, peanut butter and flour. Next, using an electric mixer, blend all of the ingredients (it should have a crumbly texture). Using your hands, form the crumb mixture into a ball.
  3. Roll out the dough onto a floured surface.
  4. Cut the dough into shapes with your favorite cookie cutters.
  5. Place the treats 1/2 an inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet
  6. Bake for 12 minutes.
  7. I used a small cookie cutter and it made 45 biscuits.

NOTE: If you don’t want to use a cookie cutter, use a pizza cutter or knife to cut the dough into small rectangles or squares (single sized treats). Place on the cookie sheet and bake. Let cool completely.
