I’ve loved cooking for as long as I can remember. I enjoy sharing recipes and coming up with new ones. I think cooking and baking should be fun, and that recipes should be easy and adaptable.
Over the years my family and their diets have evolved, varying from meat lovers, vegetarian, vegan, keto, gluten free and plant based eating. So now, when our family gets together, meals need to be healthy and flexible.
While I was growing up, I’d wake up to the warm smell of cinnamon rolls baking in the oven. My mom would be sitting at the kitchen table with a hot cup of coffee. When coming home from school, mom was busy in the kitchen preparing delicious home cooked meals for a family of eight. My passion for cooking and baking definitely came from her. Holidays and Sunday dinners were always a special time for me as a kid and still are. Some of the recipes in this collections are mom’s.
I believe in eating “whole foods”, which are foods that are unprocessed, or processed and refined as little as possible, and using fresh foods that are in season. Here you will find recipes covering a variety of cuisines, dietary needs and cooking methods. For the beginner or for those with more cooking experience.
Hopefully some of the recipes here will inspire you to broaden your normal cooking routine and be a good addition to your weekly/monthly meal rotation. It’s always great to try something new!
